Hand Operated Maize Sheller

The Maize Sheller consists of a shelling device and a handle with a holder, which can be fixed to the table. The shelling device is made of a metal hollow cylinder with four metal blades of trapezoidal in shape, welded perpendicular to the internal surface and parallel to the axis of the cylinder. During shelling operation, while rotating the cylinder by one hand using the handle the maize cob is pushed in to the cylinder by other hand. After removing three fourth of grains in the cobs, turn the cobs and remove the rest of grains while holding the other end of the cob. This Sheller can shell 300-350 cobs per hour with very minimum percentage of broken grains.
